In honor of Banned Books Week, my school is having an Edible Book Festival!
They’re having a contest for people to make an “artistic rendering” of one of the banned books, only it has to be EDIBLE. Like a cake shaped like Hogwarts or something! (only way more interesting than that)

And Tango Makes Three by Justin Richardson and Peter Parnell
A wonderful children’s book illustrating the true story of two male penguins at the New York Central Park Zoo that raised a chick together. I highly recommend you check the book out from your local library. Even if you don’t have any kids to read it to, it’s enjoyable and made me smile. I read it to a high school GSA and the experience was delightful. A great book to keep in mind for future offspring, and not inappropriate at all.
I love this book. I read it to my 6th grade class every year.
